Current Membership

There are over 60 members of the Club, spanning a range of ages. Some members just do social bowling but the majority also play for one or more of our teams and enter Club, Local or County competitions.

Joining the Club

To join the club, you must complete a membership form and be proposed and seconded by members of the club. The annual subscription fee for 2024 is £60 (reduced by £10 per month if you join mid-season). Juniors may join the club for an annual fee of £15. Annual subscriptions are due on the 1st of April each year. 

Participating in League Bowling

If you wish to participate  in league bowling you will need to be a member of the British Crown Green Bowling Association as this is a condition of the club affiliation to the leagues. If you are not a member, a lifetime fee of £15 is payable and the club will apply for membership on your behalf using the details provided on your membership form. Once the club has obtained a registration number and card for you, the Secretary will register you, with your BCGBA number, with the leagues (they play on different days of the week and afternoons or evenings) you wish to play in.
